Improving Diagnosis and Treatment for Patients with Lyme Neuroborreliosis

Dr. Eckman, in collaboration with Dr. John Halperin, lead a research team studying cerebrospinal fluid markers of Lyme disease, including Lyme neuroborreliosis, the nervous system infection associated with Lyme disease that occurs in approximately 10-15% of patients. Their recent work was published in the journal Clinical Infectious Disease.
