December 01, 2020
Drs. Eckman and Pacheco-Quinto present their most recent research, titled, Intravesicular retention of amyloid beta aggregates precedes plaque formation in TgCRND8 APP transgenic mice, at AHS Research Day. The study presented was part of their ongoing collaboration to understand protein homeostasis in Alzheimer’s disease, such as how intracellular proteases regulate multiple, distinct pools of beta-amyloid (Aβ) in brain that influence Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis.
